This is a maritime lake located in an urban area and is designated as a national natural treasure as a habitat for the hibuna. The area is rich in the breath of nature, with more than 130 species of birds flying in and about 400 species of lakeside plants. The surrounding area is Shunyoshi Park, and there are many places to visit and relax, including the Shunyoshi Lake Nature Center, which provides information on nature, a walking trail along the lakeshore, and a bird observatory.
