Overview
Lake Akan's east side on overwhelming presence with towering elevation approximately 1,371m's mountain is, its majestic appearance from Ainu language in "Pinneshiri ~male's mountain~" as has been called.
Lake Akan Hot Spring Town from 3.5km about's Takiguchi from mountain trail is maintained, on the way autumn leaves's famous spot "Lake Taro" and "Lake Jiro" passing through, summit to reach when "Penketo" and "Panketo" such as's beautiful lakes below one's eyes at, weather's good day on far Shiretoko Mountain Range up to can overlook.
Mountain climbing season is June from October.
Mountain climbing round trip approximately 7 hours.
