Approximately 3.5 km east of the Lake Akan Onsen Hot Spring Resort on Route 240, you will find a parking lot and the Takimi Bridge. The bridge is located at the headwaters of the Akan River, where abundant water from Lake Akan and Lake Taro flows as a waterfall, which is the origin of the bridge's name. The best time to visit is during the season of autumn leaves. The clear stream flowing between the bright red and yellow leaves is as beautiful as a garden.
