Dojin no Mori
One of the largest nature parks in Japan where you can enjoy the great outdoors
Dojin no Mori is located in the northern area of Tombetsu, with approximately 12,000 hectares of untouched forests and mountains. Visitors can enjoy the great nature unique to Hokkaido in approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from the center of Sapporo. The site is full of facilities in harmony with the forest with its magnificent scenery, fresh air, and wild birds flying around. Camping, barbecues, hiking, and river activities await you for a nature experience that will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. There are also experience programs that bring you into contact with nature from various perspectives under the themes of "Gather in the forest" and "Learn from the forest. Camping or staying in a cottage is also recommended to enjoy the stars at night and the chirping of wild birds in the morning.
