Ganso Sapporo Ramen Yokocho
A tourist attraction with a lineup of famous stores that have supported Sapporo's miso ramen culture
Ganso Sapporo Ramen Yokocho is a tourist attraction in Susukino where 17 stores specializing in miso ramen, the taste of Sapporo, stand side by side. The 42-meter-long street in a valley between buildings is crowded day and night with tourists, and late at night, locals come to enjoy ramen after a night of drinking in Susukino. It is inevitable to get lost in the many unique menus offered by each store, ranging from the simple miso ramen of the past to those with more elaborate ingredients. Spicy miso and miso chashu ramen are popular among tourists from overseas, and many people say that they stop by every time they visit Sapporo. On November 11 (12:00 - 24:00) every year, all restaurants hold a "half-price ramen event. Why not visit day and night to compare the different ramen dishes?
