Temiya Park (Temiya Greening Botanical Garden)
Overview
It is on the high ground of the northern district of the city, and within the park of 19.7ha in area, there is a chestnut forest of approximately 230 trees, and it is said to be the northern limit as a natural forest. In spring, flower viewing of cherry blossoms and azaleas, and in autumn, chestnut gathering, etc., it is familiar to citizens as a place for strolling and hiking. Inside the park, there is Temiya Greening Botanical Garden.
