Temiya Park (Temiya Arboretum)
Located on high ground in the northern part of the city, the 19.7 ha park is said to be the northern limit of natural forests, with about 230 chestnut trees. The park is popular among citizens as a place for strolling and hiking, cherry blossom and azalea viewing in spring and chestnut picking in fall. The park is also home to the Temmiya Arboretum.
