Surrounded by magnificent nature, Chitose City is rich in hot springs. Around Lake Shikotsu, there are "Lake Shikotsu Onsen," which is known as "hot spring for beautiful skin" because of its smooth feeling on the skin, and "Marukoma Onsen," which has an attractive open-air bath facing the lake. In the northeastern suburbs of the city, there is Matsubara Onsen, a hot spring that can also be drunk. One-day trip bathing is also readily available at each of the lodging facilities.
