Numaura Campsite
Overview
A free campsite within walking distance of popular Rishiri Island tourist spots, Otatomari Swamp and Shiroi Koibito Hill. The grassy sites are well maintained and offer great views of Rishiri Fuji. It is a little far from the nearest Oniwaki town, so it is far to walk to shops and convenience stores, but it is about 10 minutes by car or motorbike. It is known locally as a place where you can see beautiful stars, making it a great spot for starry sky photography.
