Toyoura Town is known for its strawberries, scallops, and pork. You can taste all three at Roadside Station Toyoura, where the town's delicious produce is gathered.
In early spring, the shop is filled with the sweet aroma of strawberries, and even outside of the strawberry season, you can enjoy Toyoura strawberries all year round by ordering strawberry soft serve ice cream at the takeout corner.
Winter is scallop season. The live scallops sold in the tanks at the direct sales store are so popular that they often sell out before noon.
Inside the museum, there is a memorial corner for Daisuke Naito, a former WBC flyweight world champion from Toyoura Town, and the "Scallop Fry Weight" (three skewers of fried scallops), named after Naito, is very popular.
