Kubakukawan Observation Park
Overview
Kubakukawan P.A. in Toyoura is the closest parking area to the coast on the Hokkaido Longitudinal Expressway connecting Sapporo and Hakodate. The Eruption Bay Observation Park, which can be visited on foot from the P.A., offers a panoramic view of the town, an observation tower that sells the town's specialties, a large roller slide and other playground equipment, a walking trail through a cherry blossom forest, and planted birch and maple trees, all in a large recreational park. Admission is free and the park is open throughout the year.
