When driving on Route 87 from Rausu City toward Aidomari, a large 20-meter-high rock suddenly appears. It is too big to be seen from close up, but actually from the sea (from the offshore direction) it looks like a big bear standing up depending on how you look at it, hence the name "Bear Rock".
There is no parking lot for cars, so please be careful.
