These five fantastic lakes are surrounded by primeval forest. The lakes' tranquility, with the surrounding forests and the Shiretoko mountain range reflected on their surfaces, is truly befitting of a paradise in the midst of the pristine environment, and numerous plants and animals can be seen. From the observation platform on the elevated wooden path, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Lake I and the Shiretoko Mountain Range.
