A group of murals at Rausu Elementary School caught my eye as I strolled through Rausu's city center.
Stories are told on the reliefs on the ground wall.
This is the work of Mr. Toshitaka Sekiya, a picture book artist associated with Rausu.
In addition to the wall paintings at Rausu Elementary School, there are many other works by Sekiya here and there in Rausu Town. Take a look around and see what you can find.
