The Mango-no-Mori (Forest of Mango-no-Mori), where the Rausu Kokugo Observation Tower is located, is an attractive spot where you can experience rich nature despite its proximity to the city center.

There are two trail courses where you can take a relaxing nature walk: the 3 km "Healing Forest Course" with its wonderful views of the Shiretoko mountain range, and the 5.2 km "Learning Course" that crosses a red bridge (Uguisu Bridge).

Both courses are enjoyable trekking courses where you can feel the breath of animals as well as the trees and flowers of Shiretoko.

The "Learning Course" has an entrance on the Rebun side.

Tachinius (Ushi) River means a place where there are dake birch in Ainu language, please walk slowly through the forest surrounding Tatni. There are two courses: the "Healing Forest Course (approx. 3km/1.5 hours)" to feel nature, and the "Learning Course (approx. 5.2km/2 hours)" around the remains of Chashi and the pure forest of Dake Kamba.
