Kashiwanuki" at Chikuroen Toke Sohonten

The first one is "Kashiwanuki" at Chikuroen Toke Sohonten, a long-established soba noodle shop established in 1874.

Kashiwanuki is a Kashiwa-soba noodle dish without noodles, which is loved by Kushiro residents. Kushiro people often eat Kashiwanuki with their main dish of soba noodles.

Kadoya's "Tsubu-yaki

Next is Kadoya's "Tsubu-yaki," which is served at Kadoya's restaurant in downtown Suehiro, Kushiro.

The green tsubu (green soybeans) used in this dish do not become hard even after boiling, and are very satisfying to eat! The kabayaki skewer is inserted and slowly twisted to remove the kabayaki. It looks so delicious! Don't leave any of the special sauce left inside. Kushiro's specialty, tsubu-yaki, is also available to take home.

Chocolate Parfait" at the French Sakan

This is the "Chocolate Parfait" at the long-established coffee shop, Fransai Chakan.

I ordered this chocolate parfait with a cup of blended coffee from one of the many menu items. It is a gorgeous dish of ice cream and whipped cream topped with a generous amount of melon, banana, and other fruits. I would definitely like to visit for a "closing parfait" after enjoying drinks.
