Historical Village of Hokkaido (Sapporo)
Located within Nopporo Forest Park, the Historical Village of Hokkaido is an open-air museum established to commemorate the centennial of Hokkaido's development. A Phantom Village on a Frozen Lake
Lake Shikaribetsu (Shikaoi)
Lake Shikaribetsu, the "lake in the sky," is located at an altitude of 800 meters, the highest of any lake in Hokkaido. The phantom village "Lake Shikaribetsu Kotan" appears for only 60 days on the completely frozen lake in December. All structures in the village are made solely of ice and snow. You can enjoy an ice bar, an open-air hot spring on the ice, snowmobiling, and more.

Overlooking Sapporo's Snowy Landscape
Moerenuma Park (Sapporo)
Moerenuma Park, one of Sapporo's representative art parks, was designed by sculptor Isamu Noguchi with the entire park as a single sculpture. In winter, it becomes a popular spot for snow play, and the view of Sapporo's snowy landscape from the summit of the mountain is exceptional. You can rent sleds, snowshoes, and more at the shop on the first floor of the Glass Pyramid.

The Silo Observatory is located on the western shore of Lake Toya, on the edge of the land surrounding the lake. It's a tourist spot with a panoramic view of Lake Toya, Nakajima Island, Mt.
