In love with the rich taste of "Pyram Organics & Plant" nut butters.
Since discovering the nut butters produced and sold at Pyram Organics & Plants, an organic food store and plant store in Kutchan Town, Hokkaido, I can't stop eating toast for breakfast and ice cream after dinner! Here are some of the "nut butters" that have been gracing my dining table recently.
There are 8 kinds in total. Freshly made nut butters that you squeeze yourself!
Pyram Organics & Plants sells carefully selected organic ingredients such as nuts, dried fruits, grains, and spices in small lots by weight. Nut butters are one such product, which can be made in the store in small quantities using a special grinder. The nut butters come in six varieties: pistachio, nut, macadamia, almond, cashew, and occasionally, for limited periods, a version with chocolate mixed in.
All are completely additive-free, so they can be used as a "butter substitute" for vegetarians as a high-quality vegetable fat. It can be spread on bread (mixed with honey is also good), served with ice cream, or added as an extra ingredient to sweets. It can be used in a variety of dishes, so the possibilities are endless.
Which nut butter is your favorite?
All of them are delicious, and they all last for about 6 months and can be stored at room temperature, so they are convenient to take home and are just great. The pistachio butter is the most popular item in the store.
The owner, Mr. Konagai, recommends the "Macadamia Butter. It is no exaggeration to say that he started the store because he wanted to eat as much of this butter as he could (laugh). Macadamia butter is rich in oil and has no peculiar smell. It is the closest in texture to butter, and when eaten with sourdough bread, macadamia butter and honey will fill you with happiness," says Mr. Konagai. says Ms. Konagai.
All of the breads are delicious, but try to find your favorite one.
It can be purchased here and there in Hokkaido!
In addition to "Pyram Organics & Plants," there are also jars of butter that come pre-packaged, such as "ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM" in Obihiro, " suu" in Sapporo, "licht " in Licht, and "hotaru des hotaru" in Sapporo. You can also buy them at " hotaru des hotaru" and"jo joni".
The coffee shop "sprout " next to "Organics & Plants" offers seasonal baked goods using peanut butter cookies and pistachio butter. They are also available at the online store. We hope you will try to get into the nut butter swamp.
A final word from the owner: "Bring your own container!
I want you to come to the store with your favorite container. I hope you will enjoy the pleasure of shopping with the ingredients you want in the amount you need."
