San-X's popular character "Korokoro Koronya", familiar from Sumikko Gurashi and other works, is collaborating with the special exhibition "The Northern Jomon World and National Treasures" held at the Hokkaido Museum! He will be the "Honorary Curator Nyan" to support the exhibition, and will also be selling merchandise that can only be purchased at the special shop at the venue.

Appointed as San-X's public relations officer! What is Korokoro Colonya?

Korokoro Coronya is a character from San-X Co., Ltd., the company behind "Sumikko Gurashi" and "Rilakkuma." He is a cat who lives a leisurely life in a small pannya (shop) on a street corner, and because he is shy, he is always hiding in the failed cornet bread.

Korokoro Coronya was appointed as the public relations officer for San-X in July 2023. Although there are times when she thinks, "I won't go in if there's a cornet," she works hard every day, giving interviews and attending events.

Colonya appointed as museum's "honorary curator"

Korokoro Koronya has been appointed as the "Honorary Curator" of the Hokkaido Museum. He is collaborating with the special exhibition "The Northern Jomon World and National Treasures," which introduces the "Jomon Ruins of Hokkaido and Northern Tohoku," a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to liven up the exhibition.
