From the middle of the course, we moved from indoors to outdoors. Enjoy the live cooking experience

Tomatoes and cheese cooked on the outdoor wood-fired cooktop, zucchini topped with pink beet miso, and juicy ricotta salata turnips grilled in cheese butter came out one after another. Fresh vegetables from the field behind the restaurant are superb!

For the sixth dish, ayu fish, kombu-bushi (kelp-finish), steamed in white wine and grilled with crispy skin, was served with butterbur butter. Raccoon tacos are served with rhubarb jam and pickled yacon. The main course is a meaty "brown bear sauté" served with haskap sauce. Finish with "risotto" served in raccoon soup stock.

The "Coconut Melon Sorbet" was served with a refreshing red shiso sauce that tasted like melon au lait for adults. Finally, we all enjoyed "roasted marshmallows"! We had them sandwiched between cookies.

A wide range of wines from Hokkaido to international wines

A rather unusual course meal that started in a stylish restaurant with a Portland feel and ended in the middle of the day with everyone sitting around a wood fire cooking table on a wooden deck to savor the meal. It is full of the charm that can only be found in Hokkaido.

It takes about 10 minutes from Makomanai Station on foot along a walking trail in the forest. A cab will cost about 1,000 yen. You can head up the mountain on foot or take a cab from Sapporo Station, which takes about 25 minutes. This restaurant in the mountains is only 30 minutes from the center of Sapporo. Why don't you visit mountainman, which is full of charms that cannot be conveyed only by pictures and texts?
