The inaugural Hokkaido Soba Festival 2023 will be held for a total of 10 days from Wednesday, October 18 to Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Odori Park Nishi 8-chome. The event will feature delicious soba made from freshly harvested buckwheat grown and reaped throughout Hokkaido.

The festival is divided into two phases: Phase 1 from Wednesday, October 18 to Sunday, October 22, and Phase 2 from Wednesday, October 25 to Sunday, October 29, with different vendors participating in each. The venue will also offer a rich selection of other gourmet foods and sweets. The event uses a ticket system, with one bowl of soba priced at 800 yen (tax included). Other vendors will offer a chance to explore the profound world of soba with dishes like beef tendon soba and Yubari curry soba.
