Let's enjoy midwinter in Okhotsk with Arora Rokon! Highlights and details of "Konkonrokon, Come on! Okhotsk" Highlights and Details
Konkkon Konkkon Come on," in which Hokkaido's guess Pokémon "Alola Rokkon" will serve as the main character! Okhotsk" will be held in the Okhotsk area, mainly in Abashiri City and Ozora Town, starting on February 3, 2024 (Saturday). Here are the details of this initiative, which will feature illuminations, ice slides, and Pokémon including Arora Rokon, who will also come to Okhotsk.
1 Abashiri City Arora Rokon Drift Ice Ichinichi - Winter

Through a spatial presentation that fuses the drift ice displayed at the "Drift Ice Experience Terrace" with images by Experience Design Company "OneTouten", the Arora Rokon invites you on a journey to discover the charms of the ice floes. Please enjoy a beautiful winter day with the project images!
■Period: Saturday, February 3, 2024 - Thursday, February 29, 2024
*The second phase will be held from March 1 (Fri.) to March 31 (Sun.)
Hours: 9:00 - 16:30 (last admission 16:00)

2 Abashiri City The 59th Abashiri Okhotsk Drift Ice Festival
An ice slide carved with Pokemon manholes (Poke-lids) to be installed in the city, and a kamakura shaped like a monster ball! Enjoy the traditional drift ice festival held during the drift ice season with the Alola Rocons.
Period: February 10 (Sat.) - 11 (Sun.), 2024
■Hours: 10:00 - 20:00 (until 16:00 on the last day)
*The ice slides and kamakura of the "Poké Futa" are scheduled to close at 16:00 on both days.
*The hours may be shortened depending on weather and other conditions.
Location: Abashiri Commercial Port Wharf (5 Minato-cho, Abashiri, Hokkaido)

3 Oozora Town Konkon Rokon Ozora Illumination

The event will be relaunched in 2023, moving the stage from its original location! The illumination will be held in a fantastic lakeside forest surrounded by white snow and blue light, where light monuments of Pokémon will gather. Alola Rokon and Rokon, as well as other ice-type Pokémon designed on "Poké-lids" throughout Hokkaido, will be on hand to cheer visitors on.
Don't miss the "Night Snow Walk," an activity experience on a frozen lake where you can enjoy the nature unique to the town of Ohzora.
Period: February 3 (Sat.) to 25 (Sun.), 2024
Night Snow Walk" will be held on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the period (first-come-first-served basis at the venue on the day of the event).

4 Konkonrokon Come on! Okhotsk Stamp Rally

A digital stamp rally in which visitors can easily participate with their smartphones! If you collect 3 or more stamps by scanning QR codes placed at 7 locations in Abashiri City, Ohzora Town, and Bihoro Town, you will be entered into a drawing to win a real drift ice floating on the Sea of Okhotsk and other local specialties of each city and town.
Period: Saturday, February 3, 2024 - Thursday, February 29, 2024

5 Special presents when you go to Memanbetsu by AIRDO!
If you take the AIRDO flight between Tokyo (Haneda) and Memanbetsu in February, you can get a "pocket warmer with Rokon's message card"! If you are coming from Kanto or other areas, please get it as a commemorative gift.

Arora Rokon and Rokon are active as "Hokkaido Daisuki Discovery Team"!
As part of the "Pokemon Local Acts" project, in which "Pokemon Local Acts" of each region's "Recommended Pokemon" communicate the charms of each region, Alola Rokon and Rokon were appointed as "Hokkaido Daisuki Discovery Team" in October, 2018. Alola Locon, a fox Pokémon that lives in the mountains, is the captain, and Rokon, also a fox Pokémon, is the vice-captain, continuing their activities to support Hokkaido.
In order to help promote Hokkaido, Alola Rokon and Rokon have joined forces with Sazae Shokuhin, a company that develops confectionery made from carefully selected Hokkaido ingredients, to create "Rokon-Yaki.
