The loud rock unit "She is Legend" ("She is Legend"), which appeared in the dramatic RPG "Heaven Burns Red," has stepped out of the game world and become active in live performances. Their 1st live tour held last year was a great success, touring 9 locations throughout Japan. Currently, their nationwide Zepp Tour "She is Legend Zepp Tour 2024 "We are Harumetsu Brigade"" is underway, which has been held since May this year.

Domingo published an article interviewing them about their thoughts prior to their Sapporo concert held on June 9. As a sequel to the interview, we present here the live report of the exciting Sapporo show.

The venue was enveloped in a whirlpool of enthusiasm. The voltage was maxed out right from the start of the show.

She is Legend

The Sapporo concert was held in October last year. The venue was filled up to the second floor, and from the moment they arrived, the place was a whirlpool of excitement.

At exactly 5:00 p.m., XAI and Konomi Suzuki appeared as the venue was enveloped in bright red lights. When the intro of "Harumayu Brigade," the title song of their 2nd album, started to play amidst the thunderous applause, the legends (fans) cheered loudly as if to release their pent up enthusiasm! The two musicians brought the voltage to the highest from the very beginning of the show, and I couldn't help but be captivated. The two sang "Mundane Battle Song: Always a Troublesome Battle" and "Popcorn N' Roses," as if to convulse the audience, and their voices echoed as they clashed with each other.

Without pausing for breath, the two sang "Heartbreak Syndrome" and "Thank you for playing - I'm glad I met you. Konomi Suzuki sang each song as if she were singing with her whole body, despite the intensity of the songs, while XAI stood in a dignified manner, occasionally smiling with a big smile on her face. The more they sang, the more their personalities blended and built the atmosphere of the venue. The exquisite combination that could be seen amidst the intensity of the song gave a sense of the growing trust between the two, which they had spoken about in a previous interview.

The sound by the live band that vibrates in your body and the groove that unifies the venue.

She is Legend

White Spell" (She is Legend Ver. of "White Spell") was sung as the sixth song. During the MC right before the song, XAI said, "I'm going to play that song that everyone knows," and the audience groaned when the intro started to play. The cheers that immediately rolled in increased the sense of unity in the venue. The next song was "Yami Yoru no Komachi Vampire," which had just been released on May 31. The rap part was a battle between the two. The two exchanged lyrics as they clashed wildly with each other, and the audience sang "Wow wow" together in a "groove!

XAI said in the MC right after the show, "I sang the song while being emotionally shaken. Ms. Konomi Suzuki expressed her satisfaction, saying, "I'm happy to be able to perform the songs we recorded during the last tour now. She also revealed that they would be recording a new song the following week.

The ninth song sung was "Yoh no sasu mukou e", a solo song by XAI, which was included in the album. XAI's voice was calm and quiet, a sharp contrast to the intensity of his previous songs. The gap between her voice and the way she sang as if she was speaking to the audience was heartbreaking. After singing this song, which was the last song of the live, the band members were introduced. Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance! Dance!" The audience was excited by the "vertical groove" rhythm, which is indispensable for live performances, and the two singers' voices seemed to penetrate through the audience. The sound pressure of the live band made the audience feel as if they were at a live concert.

The second half of the show was a real thriller, as the band's speed increased and the pace of the music continued to accelerate.

She is Legend

War Alive" had everyone in the venue pumping their fists in the air. The following song "World We Changed" was recommended by Konomi Suzuki in a previous interview as one of the songs from "Harumayu Brigade" that particularly stuck out to her! As she said, her singing style, which is more powerful, leaves a strong impression on the audience. This song was the first time the two of them participated in deciding on the title, and they must have put a lot of thought into it.

The 13th song "Burn My Soul" had the audience clapping their hands and shouting from the introduction. The song was followed by "Houkago no Melody," which was calm but had a sense of speed, and "Dying Season de Boku wa" which brought a sense of refreshment to the audience with its emotional singing. The last number was "Goodbye Innocence. The melody of the piano and the extension of the high notes of the two singers were beautiful.
