Encore Surprise: A Famous Local Hokkaido CM Jingle!

She is Legend

As soon as the duo left the stage, a massive chorus of "encore" erupted. After a short while, they returned, having changed into tour T-shirts. Konomi Suzuki wore a yellow hood reminiscent of her character, Karen Asakura. The first encore song was "Arch of Light Alternative," a rearranged version of "Arch of Light," which was the final song of their previous tour. Their joyful, synchronized performance once again filled the venue with cheers. In the following MC, XAI reflected with satisfaction, "Maybe we were able to show how much we've grown together with the Legenders." Then, Konomi Suzuki said with a serious expression, "There's something I want to do so I have no regrets..." The fans watched with bated breath, wondering what was coming...

She gripped the mic and sang... the nostalgic commercial jingle for the home improvement store "Homac" (now DCM)! The crowd burst into laughter, and the Hokkaido-native fans joined in for a massive sing-along. I didn't write about this in the previous article, but during the interview, I had casually mentioned, "Singing a local CM song would really get the crowd going." Konomi Suzuki said, "I've been holding onto this performance as a mission." Thank you for remembering. I'd like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude.

I've been to many concerts, but this was the first time I've ever heard the Homac song. And to hear it sung with such a clear, beautiful voice... In a way, it was the moment of greatest unity during the entire concert (lol).

(Incidentally, Konomi Suzuki mentioned she forgot which song the interviewer told her about and asked an acquaintance who recommended this one. The one I actually recommended was "Yamaoyaji" by "Senshuuan." Hopefully next time she's in Sapporo.)

A Gentle Yet Exhilarating Finale. High Hopes for Their Future

She is Legend

The last two songs were "Kishikaisei" and "Long Long Spell." Backed by a fierce and emotional performance from the band, the final "La la la" became a massive sing-along. With a shout of "You guys are the best!" the duo sang their hearts out with innocent smiles, stirring a deep emotion in my chest. The concert, filled with their energetic stage presence, a dynamic setlist, and an overwhelming sense of euphoria, ended amidst thunderous applause.

For the commemorative photo after the show, everyone struck the "SiLege pose" hand sign and shouted "We are Shunmin Ryodan!" The look of pure satisfaction on every audience member's face spoke to the success of the concert. Outside the venue, people were soaking in the afterglow in various ways: some clutched the silver tape that had been launched during the show, others lingered as if reluctant to leave, and many were immediately posting their thoughts on social media.

She is Legend

The duo will surely continue to grow and reach even greater heights during the remainder of the tour. I'm incredibly envious of everyone who will be attending their upcoming shows. My anticipation is already building for what kind of performance they will show us next.
