The popular event "Sapporo Baked Sweet Potato Terrace," which was first held in 2023 and attracted approximately 60,000 visitors last year in 2024, will be held again this year! Nakajima Park will be filled with a wide variety of sweet potato sweets, including baked sweet potatoes made with special techniques such as pot-baked and stone oven-baked sweet potatoes, as well as sweet potatoes and cakes. In 2025, there will be a record nine sweet potato booths. Popular sweet potato shops in and around Sapporo will offer sweet potatoes baked using special methods such as pot-baking and stone oven-baking. Also of interest will be the wide variety of sweet potato sweets, including sweet potatoes, cakes, fruit sandwiches, churros, and mochi, as well as exclusive sweets that can only be enjoyed here.

Furthermore, this year the opening hours have been extended by one hour, and the park will be open until 8:00 PM. At the same time, Nakajima Park will be lit up with autumn leaves, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery.

The venue is Nakajima Park, which is also known as a famous spot for viewing autumn leaves.

The alcohol booth has also been renovated this year! It will be a retro Showa-era style bar, where you can enjoy sweet potato shochu, craft beer, wine, sake, unique canned snacks, and snacks. There will also be freshly hand-brewed coffee and fresh vegetables directly from farms around Sapporo.

The Sapporo Yakiimo Terrace has become one of Sapporo's most popular autumn events. Enjoy a special moment among the golden ginkgo trees lining Nakajima Park, savoring the flavors of autumn that can only be experienced here.
