A "Space Cat" appears at Sapporo's Chi-Ca-Ho! It is actually a huge artwork created by local students!
The Sapporo Ekimae-dori Underground Walking Space, usually called "Chi-ka-ho," connects Sapporo Subway Station and Odori Station. It is not only a passageway, but also a space where various events are held every day.
It is a giant "space cat. It is a well-known Internet meme, but the impact and realistic drawing on the large canvas has become a hot topic on social networking sites, with people saying, "It's really good" and "I want to go see this. What is this giant space cat that appeared in Chi Kaho?

In fact, this is a work created by "School Art Live," a live drawing project. School Art Live" is one of the events of "Sapporo Art Stage," an event to experience the Sapporo art scene, in which high school students in Sapporo create artworks by joining their schools together.
This year's theme is "Earth in Space, Japan in Earth, Hokkaido in Japan, Sapporo in Hokkaido! .
