Inheriting the flavor of the famous Sapporo ramen shop "Sumire," this ramen is made with only miso! The secret behind the unique bowl of "Okami Soup"
In the Nakajima Park area of Sapporo, there is a famous restaurant that all miso ramen lovers should visit at least once. Its name is "Okami Soup," a miso ramen specialty restaurant. The menu simply consists of only miso ramen. The owner, who trained at the famous Sapporo ramen restaurant "Sumire," has maintained the tradition while evolving in his own way, and his carefully crafted bowls continue to captivate customers.
The only menu item offered is "Miso Ramen"! What is the secret behind its unique thickness?

"Miso Ramen" 1,100 yen (tax included)
Owner Washimi, who trained at the famous Sapporo ramen shop "Sumire," offers a bowl of miso ramen that he has evolved by adding his own originality to the traditional flavor of miso ramen he learned from that experience. When you take a sip of the piping hot soup, which is made by combining a carefully selected miso sauce with a slow-cooked soup, the rich flavor and mellowness of the miso spreads throughout your mouth within the unique thickness.

The deliciousness of the rich and creamy soup
The secret to this unique thickness is the "Kitaakari" potato hidden at the bottom of the bowl. The potato gives the soup a natural sweetness and richness, as well as a unique thickness, creating a unique flavor.
The noodles are custom-made by Nishiyama Seimen

This rich soup is paired with medium-thick curly noodles specially ordered for the Okami soup from Nishiyama Seimen, a long-established Sapporo ramen shop. The chewy noodles, reminiscent of Sapporo ramen, are a perfect match for the thick soup.
The cabbage accent enhances the flavor.

The crunchy cabbage and bean sprouts are also essential! The cabbage sandwiched between the rich flavors of the miso refreshes your mouth, making the next bite taste fresh.
The location is a 5-minute walk from Nakajima Park Station on the subway.

The restaurant is a five-minute walk from Nakajima Koen Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line. It's also close to Susukino and Nakajima Park, making it easy to stop by while sightseeing. This ramen pays homage to Sumire's traditions while carving out its own path. This flavor is an essential part of any discussion of Sapporo miso ramen, so be sure to give it a try.
