3 "The 40th Jozankei Onsen Keiryu Koinobori": A Cherished Spring Tradition in Sapporo's Premier Hot Spring Resort

This is a traditional spring event held in Jozankei Onsen, Sapporo's beloved hot spring resort. Enjoy a dynamic spring spectacle as about 400 koinobori (carp streamers) swim in the sky above the hot spring town, against a backdrop of scenery that transitions from lingering snow on the mountains to cherry blossoms and fresh green foliage.

The carp streamers on display are cherished items donated by families from across Hokkaido. Their vibrant colors fill the sky, delighting visitors to the hot spring town. Towards the end of the event, the beautiful, pale-hued "Haru Momiji" (spring foliage) also comes into season, offering a chance to enjoy the unique natural beauty of this time of year, along with cherry blossoms and new buds.
