From Accessories to General Goods! Hokkaido's Largest Handmade Festival with 1,800 Booths: "Sapporo Mono Village 2026 Spring"
This is Hokkaido's largest handmade festival, bringing together creators from all over Hokkaido and beyond. Unique handmade items across all genres—including accessories, fashion, illustrations, pottery, and general goods—are gathered in one place, creating a space that feels like a village of its own.

One of the unique charms of this event is being able to interact directly with the creators while choosing your own special favorite. In addition, the "Bread & Bread Friends Village" area will feature sales of specialty breads and pizzas from various shops, as well as jams, coffee, and baked goods that pair perfectly with bread.

A Breathtaking View to Welcome Spring! A Relaxing Seasonal Event with Plum Soft-Serve: "Hiraoka Plum Festival"
Held at Hiraoka Park, known as one of Sapporo's premier plum blossom spots, this festival coincides with the blooming season. The park is filled with white and red plum blossoms, creating a beautiful landscape that signals the arrival of spring. It's a popular event that attracts many visitors each year, and when the blossoms are in full bloom, the air is filled with their sweet fragrance.
During the festival, a special shop called "Hiraoka Ume Honpo" will be open, selling the famous plum soft-serve ice cream and other plum-themed products. The appeal of this event is being able to relax and enjoy the flowers in a natural setting while also indulging in seasonal treats you can only find here.

Get the Latest Movie Merchandise! An Interactive Shop with a Puzzle-Solving Event: "Detective Conan Plaza"
"Detective Conan Plaza," a limited-time shop for the hugely popular series "Detective Conan," is opening at the Marui Imai Sapporo Main Store. Over 500 items will be available, including T-shirts, tote bags, acrylic stands, and merchandise related to the latest movie, with many exclusive items you can only get here. Additionally, a puzzle-solving event will be held at the venue, and participants will receive an original can magnet as a gift. There will also be a photo spot with character panels, so you can enjoy the experience as well as the shopping.

Take on 456 Steps! A Special Experience Climbing the TV Tower on Foot: "Sapporo TV Tower GW Spring Stair Climb 2026"
A traditional Golden Week event is being held at Sapporo's symbol, the "Sapporo TV Tower." Participants can challenge themselves to climb 456 steps from the ground to the observation deck using the outdoor emergency staircase, which is normally closed to the public. The course, which takes about 10-15 minutes to climb, is popular every year as a casual fitness experience.
Participants who complete the climb will receive an original certificate of achievement. This time, you can also try the "stair descent." It's a special event where you can enjoy a different kind of view while feeling the spring breeze, recommended for families and as a unique tourist activity.

Enjoy it on the Sapporo PARCO Rooftop! A Music Festival in the Heart of the City: "TOWER RECORDS x Shimamura Music x PLANT presents
Located in the heart of Odori, this event is a music lover's dream, featuring a diverse lineup of artists on an open-air rooftop stage. A different lineup performs each day. A key feature is the wristband system, which allows you to freely enter and exit the building, so you can enjoy shopping and dining while taking in the live music. Sheep Shearing and Kite Flying! Hands-on Experiences & Workshops with Nature: "Hitsujigaoka Observation Deck Golden Week Event 2026"
A variety of special Golden Week events will be held at the Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Deck, which boasts expansive views. There will be plenty of special activities unique to this period, including the spring specialty "Sheep Shearing," "Train Kite Flying" against the blue sky, and the relaxing and charming "Sheep Stroll Race."
There's a full range of content for everyone from children to adults to enjoy all day, including craft experiences like making original soaps and coasters, a stamp rally around the facility, and food trucks offering various gourmet treats. On certain days during the period, elementary school students get in for free, making it a perfect outing for the whole family.

Paper Airplanes and Special Tours! Two Days to Fully Enjoy the Dome: "Premist Dome Golden Week Special Event"
This special event will be held at the Daiwa House Premist Dome on May 4 and 5. During this period, the observation deck will be open at a special price, offering a chance to enjoy the view inside the dome for less than usual. Furthermore, a special dome tour held only on the 4th will take you on a different route than usual, allowing you to experience the facility's backstage areas. There will also be a unique activity where you can fly paper airplanes toward the arena.
