Fu's Snow Area

The Fujino Outdoor Sports and Exchange Facility occupies a vast area of approximately 330,000 square meters. It is an experiential year-round facility, and in winter it becomes the Fu's Snow Area, a ski resort with six courses. The resort has a maximum length of 1.8 kilometers and a maximum slope of 38 degrees, making it enjoyable for everyone from beginners to advanced skiers.

The highlight is the luge stadium, which was built as a training course for the Sapporo Olympics held in 1972 (Showa 47). This is the only luge training course in Japan that exists here at Hoods. Luge experience classes open to the public are held in January and February. *Reservations are required and a fee applies.
