Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort (Sapporo City)
Close to Jozankei Onsen, this comprehensive ski resort boasts some of the best powder snow and vast slopes in Hokkaido. Seven courses are available, ranging from gentle slopes for beginners to dynamic downhill courses for advanced skiers. There is a snow park where you can play with sleds and tubes, a downhill course with a maximum slope of 30 degrees for moguls, and jumps such as table tops for snowboarders.

Sapporo Teine (Sapporo City)
Sapporo Teine is a comprehensive leisure facility located on Mount Teine, where the entire mountain becomes a ski resort in winter. The "Women's Giant Slalom Course" and "Men's and Women's Slalom Course," which were used in the 1972 Sapporo Olympics, are courses that every skier should try at least once. Starting from the torch tower, which still stands today, visitors can experience the sensation of diving into Ishikari Bay. The Olympia Zone also has a "Snowland" area where small children can play.

3. sapporo bankei ski resort (sapporo city)
Located near the center of Sapporo, this ski resort is open for night skiing until 10 p.m., making it easy to stop by even after work. There are 17 courses in total, ranging from family-friendly gentle slopes to the FIS-certified ban.k mogul course, which was the site of the 2017 Asian Winter Games in Sapporo, and the ban.k halfpipe, the largest in Japan. At "Wakuwaku Snowland," located in a safe area separate from the general slopes, visitors and children with no prior skiing experience can enjoy a variety of snow activities, including tube sliding. Ski and snowboard rentals are also available.

4. Sapporo Moiwa Ski Resort (Sapporo)
This ski resort is easily accessible within a 20-minute drive from the city center of Sapporo, and stretches on the slopes of Mt. Tourists staying in Sapporo can enjoy skiing on their way back to the airport after a short skiing session. Snowboarding is prohibited on the slopes, which is rare in Hokkaido, and there are 10 different courses to satisfy both beginners and advanced skiers. The "Sightseeing Road Course (2.6 km)" offers a snow trekking experience with a view of the city of Sapporo below.

Fu's Snow Area (Sapporo)
Fujino Outdoor Sports Exchange Facility Fu's is a hands-on, year-round facility with a vast area of approximately 330,000 square meters, and in winter it becomes Fu's Snow Area, a six-course ski area. With family courses and mogul-only runs, this ski area can be enjoyed by beginners and advanced skiers alike. There is also a training course for luge competitions, which is only available in Nagano Prefecture and at Hoods in Japan.

6. Takino Snow World (Sapporo)
Takino Suzuran Hillside Park is the only national park in Hokkaido, and in winter it changes its name to Takino Snow World and opens as a place where visitors can experience a variety of snow activities. Visitors can enjoy a variety of snow activities, and the 250-meter-long, 7-degree slope is perfect for children's skiing debut. Walking skiing can also be enjoyed on a total of six courses.

7.Snow Cruise ONZE (Otaru City)
Snow Cruise ONZE is a 5-minute drive from the Zenibako Interchange on the Futodaru Expressway, and a free shuttle bus service is available every day. The slopes offer a panoramic view of the blue waters of the Sea of Japan. All lighting is LED, so you can enjoy skiing safely and securely even at night in winter. In addition to skis and snowboards, snow scoots and separate snowboards are also available.

8. Otaru Tenguyama Ski Resort (Otaru City)
The closest ski resort to downtown Otaru. From the slopes, you can look down on Otaru city and enjoy the view of the ocean. On a clear day, you can see Shakotan Peninsula and other islands in the distance, and skiing in the midst of the spectacular view gives you a sense of freedom. There are a wide range of courses from beginner to advanced levels, and they are also used by elementary and junior high schools in the city for skiing lessons.

9. Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort (Otaru City)
Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort is a ski resort where everyone can enjoy skiing, with a variety of courses for beginners and advanced skiers alike, and an intermediate station on the lift for easy access to the beginner zone. Courses through natural trees and long forest courses with more than 20 car sections are also attractive. Located near the Asazato Interchange on the Sapporo Expressway, there are also lodging facilities and day-trip bathing facilities, so you can relax in a hot spring after skiing.

10. Kiroro Snow World (Akaigawa Village)
The adventure resort "Kiroro Resort" becomes "Kiroro Snow World" in winter. 11. Hokkaido Greenland White Park (Iwamizawa City)
Hokkaido Greenland, one of the largest amusement parks in Hokkaido, becomes a ski resort in winter. Hokkaido Greenland White Park, with its dynamic downhill skiing overlooking the Ishikari Plain, is only about 30 minutes from downtown Sapporo. Snowboarding is possible in all areas, and the ski resort is equipped with a city-like center lodge. Night skiing is a must experience, especially during the nighttime, when you can enjoy skiing while immersed in a world of night scenery that looks like a jewel encrusted with jewels.

Dynasty Ski Resort (Kitahiroshima City)
Dynasty Ski Resort is an ever-evolving ski resort with excellent accessibility, about 30 minutes from downtown Sapporo. It is a family slope that can be enjoyed by beginners and intermediate skiers alike. In addition to "Snow Cruising" for adults and children alike and "Snow Activity Zone" where children can play to their heart's content, there is also a "Group Activity Zone" where children can enjoy winter fun in a large snow field.

13. Haginoyama Citizen's Ski Resort (Iwamizawa City)
This ski resort has long been popular as a citizens' ski resort. The wide 1.5-kilometer wide slopes, with six lifts and two lodges, are designed for beginners and intermediate skiers, and beginners and small children can play safely on the family slopes.

14. Mt. Anpei Ski Resort (Anpei Town)
From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy beautiful views of Mount Yubari, the Hidaka Mountains, and Mount Tarumae from afar. The slopes offer a wide variety of course layouts, from gently sloping wide beginner and intermediate courses to advanced courses, and there is also a bobsled course that is very popular with children.
