Located near Jozankei Onsen, this comprehensive ski resort boasts some of the best powder snow in Hokkaido and a vast slope. 2. Sapporo Teine (Sapporo City)
This comprehensive leisure facility on Mt. Teine turns the entire mountain into a ski resort in winter. There are a variety of courses, including the "Women's Giant Slalom Course" and "Men's and Women's Slalom Course," which were used in the 1972 Sapporo Olympics, courses that any skier would want to try at least once. The course that starts from the Olympic flame, which still remains today, gives you the feeling of jumping into Ishikari Bay. 3. Sapporo Bankei Ski Resort (Sapporo City)
Located near central Sapporo, this ski resort is open until 10pm, so you can easily drop by after work. There are 17 courses in total, ranging from gentle slopes for families to the FIS-certified 22.0 mogul course, which was the venue for the 2017 Sapporo Asian Winter Games, and the largest 22.0 half-pipe in Japan. Wakuwaku Snowland, located in a safe area separate from the general slopes, offers a variety of snow activities, including tubing, and is fun for tourists and children who have never skied before. 4. Sapporo Moiwa Mountain Ski Resort (Sapporo City)
Easily accessible by car from downtown Sapporo, this ski resort spreads out over the slopes of Mt. Moiwa, which is 531 meters above sea level. Tourists staying overnight in Sapporo can enjoy a quick ski trip before heading back to the airport. Snowboarding is completely prohibited on this slope, which is rare in Hokkaido, and there are 10 courses to satisfy everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. 5. Fu's Snow Area (Sapporo City)
The Fujino Outdoor Sports Exchange Center Fuds, which covers a vast area of approximately 330,000 square meters, is an experiential year-round facility that becomes the Fuds Snow Area, a ski resort with six courses in winter. With a family course and a mogul-only run, it is a ski resort that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers. 6. Takino Snow World (Sapporo)
Takino Suzuran Hillside National Park is the only national park in Hokkaido, and in winter it changes its name to "Takino Snow World" and opens as a spot where you can experience various snow activities. 7. Snow Cruise ONZE (Otaru City)
Snow Cruise Ons is easily accessible, just a 5-minute drive from the Zenibako IC on the Sasson Expressway, and a free shuttle bus runs every day. 8. Otaru Tenguyama Ski Resort (Otaru City)
This is the closest ski resort to downtown Otaru. From the slopes, you can look down on Otaru city and enjoy the ocean view. 9. Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort (Otaru City)
There are various courses that can be enjoyed by beginners to advanced skiers, and the lift has an intermediate station that makes it easy to move to the beginner zone, so it is a ski resort that everyone can enjoy. 10. Kiroro Snow World (Akaigawa Village)
In the winter, the adventure resort "Kiroro Resort" becomes "Kiroro Snow World." 11. Hokkaido Greenland White Park (Iwamizawa City)
Hokkaido Greenland, one of the largest amusement parks in Hokkaido, becomes a ski resort in the winter. Hokkaido Greenland White Park, which boasts a spectacular downhill course overlooking the Ishikari Plain, is easily accessible, about 30 minutes from downtown Sapporo. 12. Dynasty Ski Resort (Kitahiroshima City)
Dynasty Ski Resort is a constantly evolving ski resort with excellent access, about 30 minutes from central Sapporo. 13. Haginoyama Citizen Ski Resort (Iwamizawa City)
This ski resort has long been popular among local residents. From the summit, you can view the vast, silvery plains, and the course has a wide slope that is 1.5 kilometers wide. Equipped with six lifts and two lodges, the family slope is designed for beginners to intermediate skiers, so beginners and small children can play safely.

14. Abirayama Ski Resort (Abira Town)
From the summit, you can enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Yubari, the Hidaka Mountains, and Mt. Tarumae.
