SPOT
Oku-Jozankei Kamui no Mori
Oku-Jozankei Kamui no Mori (formerly Jozankei Farm) is a tourist facility located within Shikotsu-Toya National Park, known as the inner parlor of Jozankei, a 15-minute drive from the Jozankei Onsen town. Starting with strawberries in June, you can enjoy picking various fruits such as cherries, blueberries, plums, and prunes until early November.
Additionally, there is a fishing pond reputed to be easy enough for children to catch fish, and tree trekking, making it a bustling place for Sapporo citizens of all ages. The paths within the park are wide and paved, so visitors in wheelchairs or with strollers can also enjoy fruit picking. After a lot of play, you can also quench your thirst at the spring water corner, sourced from the underflow water of the Muine mountain range. Meals are also served in the park, with original dishes using fruits and vegetables harvested on-site, as well as Genghis Khan (mutton BBQ) and BBQ being popular. In autumn, it is also popular as a scenic spot surrounded by 360-degree autumn foliage.
