Date Memorial Hall and Date Residence Annex
Visitors can view historical items related to Tobetsu, where the history of pioneering was established in 1871 by Kuninao Date, lord of Iwadeyama in the Sendai domain (present Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture). Both museums display items related to the Date family and collect historical materials related to the pioneering history of Tobetsu, allowing visitors to learn about the pioneering history of the area.
