Hokkaido Center for Buried Cultural Properties
The Hokkaido Center for Buried Cultural Properties provides a variety of information on buried cultural properties for the purpose of protecting cultural properties.
The center exhibits a large number of earthenware and stoneware from the Jomon period excavated in Hokkaido, as well as wood products, ornaments, and other items.
The Jomon Life Experience Plaza, which offers free hands-on learning experiences, is also open at all times.
Visitors can also browse through books and other materials for the general public to learn about buried cultural properties.
