Tagura Beach <Kariba Motsuta Provincial Natural Park>
The coast stretches from near the mouth of the Tagura River to Tagura, with a series of reefs and cliffs in the beautiful emerald sea. It is designated as a part of "Kariba-Mozuta Provincial Park" because of its beautiful scenery with rough sea-eroded landforms. The entire coast is a sunset point, but "Cape Benten," which is a particularly beautiful sunset photo point, has "Itsukushima Shrine," founded in 1838 to pray for peace on the sea and good catches, perched on a rock on the cape. For a month every summer, Futoro Beach, which has received the highest rating of "AA" in a water quality survey, is open, attracting bathers and campers. The surrounding area is also known as a rock fishing spot, and many anglers gather at each point to catch hokke, sardines, mackerel, horse mackerels, and other fish each season.
Please pay attention to the rules and manners regarding fishing.
