The "Cave of Lourdes" in France is world famous as a Catholic pilgrimage site. In the spring of 1910, Fr. Gérald Pourier was lost in the snowy mountains behind the Trappist monastery, In 1989, the Lourdes Grotto on the mountain behind the monastery became dangerous due to weathering and falling rocks, and it was found to be beyond repair.
It is a 30-minute walk from the front of the monastery, which also serves as an observation deck.
