SPOT
The Kamiiso Dam was planned for four months from 1967 for the modernization of agriculture in the district, improvement of productivity, and stabilization of agricultural management.
From 1990 to 1993, a park and campground were constructed, and cherry trees were planted at that time. The cherry trees include Daisenzakura, Somei-Yoshino, Sekiyama, Nanden, Fugenzou, Ukon, and Ichiyo, which can be enjoyed from early May to the end of May, the cherry blossom season.
