Meisui Fureai Park was established to commemorate the fact that the Naibetsu River spring water, which is used for the citizens' tap water, was selected as one of the "100 best waters". The park features a reproduction of the Naibetsu River spring water outlet and a walking path along the Naibetsu River, where visitors can get in touch with nature. In the administration building of the adjacent water purification plant, a full-scale replica of the first "Hokkai" aircraft, which was the first aircraft to land on the landing field (now New Chitose Airport) that was built by all the village residents, is on display.
