Famous Water Park
Meisui Fureai Park was developed to commemorate the selection of the Naibetsu River spring, which is used for the city's tap water, as one of the "100 Best Waters in Japan." The spout of the Naibetsu River spring has been recreated, and there are walking paths along the Uchibetsu River, allowing visitors to experience nature. In the management building of the adjacent water purification plant, a full-scale model of the first "Hokkai" aircraft, which landed on the landing site (now New Chitose Airport), which was built with the cooperation of all the villagers, is on display.
