Meisui Fureai Park
Meisui Fureai Park was developed to commemorate the selection of the Naibetsu River spring water, which is used for the city's tap water, as one of the '100 Exquisite and Well-Conserved Waters of Japan'.
In addition to a recreation of the Naibetsu River spring water outlet, the park features walking paths along the Naibetsu River, allowing visitors to connect with nature.
In the administration building of the adjacent water purification plant, a full-scale model of the 'Hokkai' No. 1 aircraft, the first plane to land at the airstrip (now New Chitose Airport) built by the collective effort of the villagers, is on display.
