Chitose Salmon Forest Salmon Information Center
"Chitose Salmon Forest Salmon Information Center" is an exhibition facility where visitors can observe the hatching process of salmon and directly touch the eggs and fry.
In addition to panel displays explaining the history and process of the salmon hatching and release project, the facility also features a large-screen video system showing the hatching and run-up of salmon, a giant aquarium where visitors can see salmonids, life-size models of salmon and sockeye salmon that allow visitors to experience their actual weight and texture, fish swimming on the floor that react to human movement, and digital content that allows visitors to enjoy games. The facility is a place to "see," "touch," and "learn," with digital content that allows visitors to enjoy playing games.
