Touma Limestone Cave
Discovered in 1957, Toma Limestone Cave boasts a total length of 135m. It is a limestone cavern that was formed over an incredibly long period of time by the dissolution of groundwater since the Jurassic period 150 million years ago, and is known academically as an important limestone cave where extremely rare "macaroni stalactites" can be seen. As the interior of the cave resembles two reclining dragons, it is also known as the "Ezo Banryu Cave." It was designated a Hokkaido Natural Monument in 1961.
