Roadside Station Mikasa (Sunfarm Mikasa)
Located at the western entrance to Mikasa (along National Route 12), Michi-no-Eki Mikasa (Sun Farm Mikasa) is the first roadside station to be certified in Hokkaido. Its landmark is the "No-Yakata" (Agricultural Hall), which features a gigantic waterwheel with a diameter of 10 meters, and it introduces the history of agricultural development in Mikasa.
This area has a park golf course, a hot spring bath, a ramen shop, and a specialty goods store. Local produce, homemade soft serve ice cream, cream puffs, pizza, and inari sushi are sold at the adjacent store "Shoku no Kura."
