Former Takashimaya Hakodate Branch Office Book Depository
Red brick book depository adjacent to the former branch office building in Motomachi Park, built in 1880 and survived the 1907 fire. The bricks used were made in Mohechi near Hakodate. Designated as a Tangible Cultural Property of Hokkaido.
