Asari Dam Memorial Hall
Overview
Asari Dam Memorial Hall is located by Asari Dam (Lake Otarunai), which is located further into Asari River Hot Spring Village.
The lakeside park around Lake Otarunai, an artificial lake created by the dam, is a great place for families to enjoy a stroll.
In the fall, the surrounding mountains change color, making it a popular spot for viewing the changing leaves.
At the Memorial Hall, a model of the dam, panels introducing the construction of the Asari Dam, and panels introducing water supply facilities in Otaru City are on display.
