SPOT
Morning Village River Warm Spring
From the urban area to the Sapporo direction, at a place of 30 minutes by car, there is Asarigawa Onsen, known as Otaru's inner parlor surrounded by mountains on three sides.
This place, from the fact that deer gathered for hot water bathing, is called "Deer's Dancing Place," and from ancient times, the fact that there is a hot spring has been handed down.
The spring quality is Sodium-Calcium chloride spring, and it is said that there is an effect on muscle pain, neuralgia, fatigue recovery, etc.
Furthermore, when you proceed to the inner part, a loop bridge is connected up to the height of Asari Dam.
On the way, that scenery overlooking the hot spring town is splendid, and you can look out over up to the sea.
Asari Dam, which was completed in the autumn of Heisei 5, is an artificial lake that was formed by being dammed up by the dam, and was named "Lake Otarunai" by public solicitation from citizens.
The surroundings of Lake Otarunai are maintained as a lakeside park, and besides recreation zones and picnic zones where families can enjoy strolls and picnics, and play zones where tennis and gateball can be done, there are also facilities such as a dam memorial hall, and it is bustling with many people.
Also, in the surroundings of the hot spring town, there are also sports facilities, and in the summer season, golf, and in the winter season, skiing can be enjoyed.
After sports, entering a hot spring and washing away sweat, and also striking the tongue drum on local cuisine that used fresh and abundant wild vegetables and seafood lavishly, is exceptional.
