SPOT
Akenogaoka Ski Area is a town-run ski area utilizing the slopes of Akenogaoka Park and is fully equipped with night lighting, pair lifts, and a rest lodge. There is also a sled-only course, which can be easily enjoyed by everyone from small children to advanced skiers. In addition, the Makubetsu Ski School, accredited by the Hokkaido Ski Federation, is open during the season.
