1. National Akanko-Kohan Ski Resort Utara (Kushiro City)
This is a ski resort where you can enjoy skiing while overlooking Mount Ouaman and Lake Akan. The slopes have excellent snow quality, and there are two courses: a beginner/intermediate course and an advanced course. The board park with a variety of items is especially popular among snowboarders. In the kids' park, families with young children can enjoy sledding and snow play, and the ski area is crowded every year with a wide range of people, from leisure skiers to competitors.

2. Abashiri Lake View Ski Resort (Abashiri City)
Abashiri Lake View Ski Resort is a ski resort where you can enjoy the unique scenery and powder snow of the Sea of Okhotsk. Snowboarders can enjoy snowboarding on six of the seven courses, so snowboarders can enjoy skiing without hesitation. There is also a sledding course for small children, making it perfect for families. Weather permitting, the Shiretoko mountain range can sometimes be seen from the top of the mountain.

3. Mombetsu City Daisen Ski Resort (Mombetsu City)
A ski resort where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Sea of Okhotsk from the slopes. In addition to being able to ski while watching the drift ice come in contact with the sea in front of you, the ski resort is also located close to the city center and next to a national highway. A hutte that doubles as a cafeteria and rest area, as well as a two-seater pair lift, are also available for a comfortable stay.

4.Engaru Rock Valley Ski Resort (Engaru Town)
A ski resort with a variety of courses to satisfy beginners, families, and experts alike. It is equipped with 6 courses and a bobsled plaza, including a championship course with a maximum slope of 33 degrees, a dynamic course with a total length of over 1,000 meters, and family slopes for beginners and families to play together. Night skiing from the top of the mountain is also possible thanks to the many lighting fixtures.

5.Unabetsu Ski Resort (Shari Town)
Unabetsu Ski Resort is a ski resort where you can enjoy winter sports with a dynamic view. The azure Sea of Okhotsk below turns into a field of white drift ice in winter. The ski slopes are equipped with pair lifts and night skiing facilities, so you can enjoy a full day of winter sports.

6. Nukabira Genzengo Ski Area (Kamishihoro Town)
Located in Nukabira Gensenkyo in Daisetsuzan National Park, this ski resort offers a great view of the East Hokkaido wilderness, including the mountains of Tōdaiyuki, Lake Nukabira, and on clear days, Mount Hyo-Akan. Among the many courses, the 4.3 km-long forest course, which winds through Abies sachalinensis and Ezo spruce, is the most popular. Blessed with magnificent scenery and good quality snow, the courses are suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers.

Sakuragaoka Ski Area (Takigami Town)
The northwest-facing slopes provide good snow quality and a total of four courses that can be enjoyed by experts and beginners alike. There is also a walking ski course at the base of the resort, which is equipped with lifts and night skiing facilities. Located in the center of the Nigorigawa area, it is also known as a cherry blossom viewing spot in spring.

8. Koube Ski Resort (Koube Town)
A ski resort where you can see drift ice on the Sea of Okhotsk from the top of the mountain. Although the courses are short (approximately 400 meters in length), the slopes are spacious and suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers, and family skiers can enjoy them with peace of mind. Snowboarders can also ski the entire course, making it ideal for beginner snowboarders to practice their skills.

9. Churui Shiragindai Ski Resort (Makubetsu Town)
This ski resort is the only ski slope in Southern Tokachi. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, this family slope also offers sledding. It is equipped with pair lifts, night lighting, and a lodge where you can take a rest when you are tired of playing, so you can enjoy the whole day.

10. Akenogaoka Ski Resort (Makubetsu Town)
A town-run ski resort utilizing the slopes of Akenogaoka Park, it is well-equipped with night lighting, pair lifts, and a rest lodge. There is also a dedicated sled course, which can be enjoyed by everyone from small children to advanced skiers.

11. Kunshifu Ski Resort (Kunshifu Town)
A recreation park in Kunshifu Town opens as a ski resort in winter. The ski slopes cover an area of 26,000 square meters and are enjoyed by many people in and outside of the town. It is free to use and has a sledding course, so parents and children can enjoy skiing together.

12. Gorikayama Ski Resort (Yubetsu Town)
Goshikayama is a family ski slope where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the drift ice on the Sea of Okhotsk and Lake Saroma. There are four varied courses, including one kilometer-long course, that can be enjoyed by beginners and advanced skiers alike. Snowboarding is allowed on all courses, and a cross-country ski training course is also available.

13. Lily Mountain Ski Area (Bihoro Town)
A ski resort where you can enjoy beautiful views from the top. It is a family slope for beginner and intermediate skiers, with a maximum slope of 450 m and an average slope of 13 degrees, and is close to the city center. There is also a pair lift with an extension of approximately 400 meters.
Open for the 2024-2025 season.

14. Saroma Ski Resort (Saroma Town)
A ski resort with a total of three courses that can be enjoyed by beginners and advanced skiers alike. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the slopes can be comfortably used by people of all ages, from small children to the elderly, for sledding and other activities.

15. Midori Ski Resort / Midori Ski Resort Snow Park (Kiyosato Town)
Midori Ski Resort Snow Park (Kiyosato-cho) is a ski resort where snowboarding is allowed on all surfaces. There is also a snow park with kickers and boxes on the grounds. The park is equipped with easy-to-enter items for beginners and can be enjoyed by both children and adults.

Hours of operation: Usually from early January to mid-March 10:00 - 21:00 *Sunday and holidays until 17:00
Lifts are closed between 17:00 and 18:00 for inspection.

16. Shibetsu Kinzan Ski Area (Shibetsu Town)
A ski resort where you can enjoy Shibetsu's unique location and snow quality. You can enjoy the platinum snow created by the harsh weather conditions of Kinzan. The courses are varied and steep, and from the top of the slopes, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Kunashiri Island and the Notsuke Peninsula.
