Itsukushima Shrine
Itsukushima Shrine has been revered as the guardian deity of Kushiro citizens since the Edo period. In the Meiji era (1868-1912), the shrine was moved to its current location in Yone-machi, the birthplace of Kushiro City, and watches over Kushiro from a hill overlooking the sea. The shrine enshrines seven deities, including the mountain deities of Mt.

Get off at "Yonemachi Koen-mae" and walk up the main approach to the plaza in front of the main shrine.
By car
Parking lot No. 1 is located on the left after climbing the hill in Yonemachi Park.
The second parking lot is diagonally across the street from the first torii gate.
