Hakodate Christos Orthodox Church
The Hakodate Christ Orthodox Church's predecessor is the consulate-attached cathedral that the first Russian consul Goshkevich built.
The current cathedral is one that was rebuilt in 1916 (Taisho 5), and its exterior is a beautiful cathedral with white walls finished with plaster coating on brick walls and a green copper plate roof.
It has been designated as a National Important Cultural Property.

Winter period (December 26 - March 26), as for chapel visiting other than prayer, will be suspended.
