If you come to the Akan Tancho-no-Sato area, this is a must-visit tourist base. The building that houses the tourist information center is made of plenty of larch from Kushiro, giving it a bright and refreshing atmosphere. A wide range of locally produced agricultural and livestock products are sold here, from sweets to craft products. There is also a cafe corner where you can enjoy light meals, so feel free to take a break here.
