A spectacular route through magnificent nature

The Akan Crossing Road is a mountain tourist road that runs through the magnificent nature of Akan-Mashu National Park in eastern Hokkaido. It is part of National Route 241, and connects the towns of Teshikaga and Ashoro, and plays an important role in connecting the scenic Lake Akan and Lake Mashu areas that are representative of eastern Hokkaido.
