SPOT
Uzura Dam Auto Camp Ground Hachamu Forest
The Uzura Dam Auto Camp Ground and Hachamu Forest, located just below the Uzura Dam at the halfway point of Route 227 between southern Hiyama and Hakodate, opened in July 1999 and is the first auto camp ground in Hiyama Province. The word "Hacham" comes from the Ainu word for "cherry bird," which is the origin of the word "Atsuzawabe.
The "Hachamu Forest" is a place to commune with water, greenery, and the richness of nature. Here in "Hachamu Forest," there is a refreshing encounter between people and nature. Of course, we have the latest facilities to support campers. Please visit "Hachamu Forest" in Asabu-cho, the base of outdoor activities in southern Hokkaido, with your family and friends.
